Plot
Summary: Can love release our true self?
A wealthy Cuban coffee exporter, Luis Vargas, advertises
for a US wife; Julia Russell, from Delaware, sends her
photograph, but the woman who steps off the ship is
much lovelier. Luis marries her immediately and gives
in to love. But Julia may not be who she claims: first
a private eye shows up on behalf of Julia's sister,
then the sister herself. By now, Luis has given has
wife access to bank accounts, and when she runs with
his cash, he pursues her, with the help of Downs, the
P.I., perhaps to kill her. Pursuit may be part of a
con game as well, and Julia's past explains some, if
not all, of what remains of the story. A priest hears
her confession.
Comments:
I liked
this movie. Angelina Jolie and Antonio Banderas made
a beautiful-looking couple. This was a great movie for
husbands and wives to see together because it was filled
with drama, action and romance. I have never seen a
movie combine all three this way. It's a movie that
both men and women could enjoy. Angelina Jolie is beautiful,
and her wardrobe was very elegant.

Comments:
I loved
this movie due to the inner reflection it causes you
to have after you watch it. All the great movies make
you turn inwards and contemplate your own life. John
Cusack loses control of his life and like the chaos
of being an air traffic controller, his life becomes
a small sky filled with many mid air collisions. I had
to buy this movie as soon as I saw it, and everytime
I watch it, I enjoy it even more. If the enjoyable theme
of having to clense one's soul isn't enough for you,
this film is filled with humour, love and lots Angelina!

Comments:
The movie is strange but you come to like it. It has
a Lynch atmosphere and it alternates between comedy
and thriller (reminded me of Wild At Heart sometimes).
This is the first film Angelina Jolie film I've seen.
She's gorgeous! If I were Aiello I would definitely
fall for her. Michael Biehn is extremely cool!

Comments:
I saw Gia about 2 years ago after a friend told me about
it. I already loved Angelina Jolie, so I thought I'd
rent it. So one night I did. After watching, I loved
Angelina even more. Damn those lips! But not just that,
the story behind this tragic tale of a model was so
interesting. After watching the movie, I looked up more
about the real Gia Carangi...she was a very beautiful
model...to be honest Angelina looks nothing like her,
but the personality was there. All in all, it was a
good movie and it really touches you.

Comments:
Although unrealistic with the GUI and actual act of
"cracking" (hacking is often misunderstood
for cracking). This movie was fun. Angelina Jolie was
in it, early in her career, looking hot as ever... Johnny
Lee Miller (aka Sickboy from Trainspotting) was the
main character, who I'm fond of. It was allot of fun
to watch, thoroughly entertaining, and it didn't lag.
I wish the DVD had more content, but back in 95 DVD's
didn't exist yet, so they just copied over the crap
from the VHS tape. Other than that, pick it up if you
like cyber crime movies, and kids running a rye. I did.

Wow! That's the only word that can describe this beautiful,
touching film. I was blown away by the acting. Angelina
Jolie is the most beautiful and talented actress in
the film industry right now. The whole movie was a wonderful
trip through the lives of five friends...i recommend
it as much as humanly possible

a human Colson Ricks, aka. Colt 45 who works for PinWheel
as a martial arts instructor. He falls for Cash as well,
and with the help of Mercy, they escape. PinWheel Corp.
sends Danny Bench, a 'Cyborg Tracker' after both Colt
and Cash. Violence ensues.
Comments:
The VERY beautiful Angelina Jolie stars as an android
named "Cash" in this exciting, futuristic
and fast moving movie. Her "makers" or "god",
of course is the famous Pinwheel Corporation; one of
the largest android making concerns in the world. Things
are very competitive in the future; especially in the
artificial human business. Everything seems to be fine
until one of Cash's female android friends reveals a
sinister plan to eliminate rival corporate leadership;
the plan involves injecting an undetectable explosive
in her and then detonating it at the appropriate time.
Terrified by this knowledge , she enlists the aid of
her human martial arts trainer named "Colt".
With his help, she battles past armed guards and escapes
to the outside world. Jack Palance stars as "Mercy",
a renegade android who assists other androids seeking
freedom and appears mostly as a mouth on a television
screen throughout most of the movie. Billy Drago gives
his typically good performance as the tough, greedy
and antagonistic bounty hunter sent after Cash and Colt.
This movie, while limited in budget, has nevertheless
earned a respectable place on my shelf along with the
other great "B" movies. Add this one to your
collection of fine science fiction films! Two thumbs
up!
